Compatibility

Works with the tools you already use

Wizarch reads the open formats your design software already exports, so there is nothing new to learn.

IFC and Fragments carry full BIM data — floor filtering, element info and measurement. On ArchiCAD 28 or 29 the Fragments Exporter writes them directly, skipping IFC conversion. glTF/.glb is render-only — great for form and massing, but no floor filtering or object data.

Can I view an IFC file online?

Yes. Upload an IFC file to Wizarch and view it as an interactive 3D model directly in the browser — no Revit, ArchiCAD or desktop IFC viewer required. See the online IFC viewer.

Do my clients need to install anything?

No. Clients open a normal web link and the 3D building model renders in their browser, including on mobile devices.

Which file formats does Wizarch support?

IFC (.ifc), the open BIM exchange format exported by Revit, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks and other CAD tools, plus pre-converted Fragments (.frag) files and glTF (.glb) mesh models exported from SketchUp. Can I protect a model with a password?

Yes. Client links stay unlisted by default, and you can protect any project with a client password.

Can clients measure inside the viewer?

Yes. The viewer includes a point-to-point measuring tool for checking distances in the model.

How do I send a finished model to a client?
