Online IFC Viewer

View IFC files directly in the browser — and send your clients an interactive 3D model of what you are building for them, not a flat render. No plugins, no desktop software.

What is an IFC viewer?

IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) is the open BIM exchange format that Revit, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks and other CAD tools export. An IFC viewer lets you open that model and explore the building in 3D without the original authoring software. Wizarch is an online IFC viewer: it runs in the browser, so anyone with the link can open the model — architects, engineers, and clients alike.

Wizarch also accepts pre-converted Fragments (.frag) files and glTF (.glb) mesh models, so it fits workflows from ArchiCAD and Revit through to SketchUp.

View IFC files in the browser

Upload an IFC or pre-converted Fragments file and Wizarch renders it as an interactive 3D model on the page. Orbit, pan, and zoom the building, toggle site context, and explore the geometry at full detail. Wizarch converts IFC to lightweight Fragments so even large models load quickly.

Inspect floors, plans, and measurements

Filter the model floor by floor to focus on a single storey, then switch that storey into a projected plan view. Use the built-in point-to-point measuring tool to check distances directly in the model — no need to round-trip back to the authoring software.

Send clients an interactive model, not a flat render

Viewing the model is only half of it — Wizarch is how you hand it to a client. Every project gets a clean link like /your-studio/project/ that your client opens in any browser to orbit, filter and explore the actual building you are designing, instead of a static image or a file they cannot open. Links stay unlisted by default, and you can lock any project behind a client password. See how to share a BIM model with a client.

Frequently asked questions

How do I view an IFC file online?

Upload your IFC file to Wizarch and it renders as an interactive 3D model directly in the browser — no Revit, ArchiCAD, or desktop IFC viewer required.

Do I need to install anything to open an IFC file?

No. The viewer runs in any modern web browser, including on mobile, so you and your clients open a normal web link with nothing to install.

Can I inspect floors and take measurements?

Yes. You can filter the model floor by floor, switch a storey into a projected plan view, and use the point-to-point measuring tool to check distances.

Can I share the IFC model with clients?

Yes. Every project gets a clean browser link you can send to clients, with the option to protect it behind a client password.
