The problem with sending BIM files
BIM models are big, and they are tied to the software that made them. Emailing a client an IFC or a native Revit, ArchiCAD, or SketchUp file rarely works: the file is too large for email, and the client does not own the software to open it. Share a model in three steps
- Create a project in Wizarch and pick its client URL, like /your-studio/project/.
- Upload your model — IFC (.ifc), Fragments (.frag), or glTF (.glb). Wizarch converts IFC to lightweight Fragments for fast loading.
- Send the link. Your client opens an interactive 3D model in any browser, on desktop or mobile.
Works with the model you already have
Whatever your studio uses, Wizarch reads the open format it exports. Export IFC from ArchiCAD, Revit, or Vectorworks, or export a SketchUp model as glTF (.glb), then upload it and share the link. There is nothing new for you to learn and nothing for your client to install.
Keep control of who sees it
A shared model does not have to be a public model. Wizarch links stay unlisted by default, and you can protect any project with a client password so only the people you send it to can open it. The link always points at the current model, so there is no more chasing down stale file versions over email.
